Today is the best day I've had in at least Weeks. I'm down 2 sizes and I took a huge pile of clothes to the Cancer Society Discovery Shop to donate. I'd wanted to give them to fire disaster victims but no one would take them this time. It's such a weight off me, I even feel lighter.
I was 187 pounds this morning which is another weight. It's taken me 8 days to get from 189 to 187. I yoyo'd a little for a few days. I've faced the fact that it's going to be harder to lose the weight this time. I've been pretty good adhering to the diet and the schedule and the water...
A couple of days I didn't hop out of bed and get to breakfast. The last couple of mornings I got up at 6:30 and we'll see if this has any effect. I was having a hard time eating every 2-3 hours, sometimes it's been 4 and I skipped a few things like morning and afternoon snack a couple times. So ok, I wasn't perfect.
Anyway, now that the log jam is broken (187!!) I'm going to be good and get out of bed every morning.
The other thing is that I've decided to start doing the workouts. A VHS tape came with the diet and I tried to figure out how to convert it. Costco can't do it-copywrite law, and our VHS player is somewhere up in the attic. It would have taken some sort of cable, Weston said we'll hook it up to our DVD player to convert it. But I found the DVD on eBay for $1.99. Yay!
My car is almost ready to leave the mechanic's shop. Tomorrow morning it's going for a front end alignment. Today we finished the brakes and got the new tie rod installed. I'll drive it over to the body shop on West End Road in Arcata after Dan installs the NOS gauges. (NOS = new old stock)
I'm posting a photo of the DVD so you can buy one on ebay for $1.99 if you'd like. It's only 18 min per day.

I'm so glad it feels like you're back on track. And you donated clothes. Feels so good.
ReplyDeleteI met a milestone today -169.9. My capris are feeling roomy. What a good feeling. Three more lbs and I will be back to the weight I achieved in September last year by virtue of uncontrollable circumstances. Following that month, over the holiday season I put nearly 30 lbs on. I can't figure out how that happened. I wasn't doing a lot of holiday goodies. I think it was a matter of being in the doldrums after the stress of September.
So I'm feeling back on track now too, and in control.
I hope to see your beautiful car back in prime condition soon!
