Finally got the scale to move after more than a week stuck on 185! And I hit 10,988 steps yesterday which is the first time over 10,000 steps in over a year, I think. Suddenly, I see lots of possibilities.
It was like my brain was paralyzed on one level. Because I couldn't quit this diet, I've got too much invested in shakes, greens, MCT and now even activated charcoal in case I get diarrhea, again. Sometimes you can't leave out the worst parts, that lasted almost a week. I kept reading the FB posts of everyone who had mixed success and quite a few people had lost over 100 pounds and I thought to myself--gee I can do that if I'm just better at counting macros, or drinking enough water, or maybe I was on the wrong diet? I'm going to stick with Speed Keto though.
Stalling would have made me quit before. Been there, done that. But this time is different and I almost can't put my finger on it. I've had stalls of a few days on Michael Thurman, a couple stalls of a week or almost a week since I started Keto, but it's not denting my determination.
I weighed 182 this morning!! I know it's because I hit 10,000 steps. I need to change my goal to 15,000 steps but I'm just going to have to tackle this level first. And I'm not there yet. I cleared a path to my treadmill and it was a little disturbing I couldn't pre-set it for 5 miles at 3.2 mph. I can set it for walking for an hour but when I change mph, the time changes, the distance changes. Frustrating. I think I can get on and set the mph and just walk as long as I want, we'll see but I'm pooped now,
We (Gary came for the first time) to see the car and clean window glass with me. I brought the heavy rubber mat I'd taken to the car wash this week. I had it rolled up in the front seat so it was infringing on FitzGerald's space in the back seat and he thought it was a giant chew toy! I hung it over the front porch railing to dry and when I took Fitz outside for our walk he jetted over to where the mat was hanging and wanted to attack it once more. Gary folded it into the back of the car to take it back to Arcata and Fitz knew it was in the trunk and wouldn't sit still. Brat.
So I have an excuse to be pooped for now. I'll try to walk later, but I'm not getting anywhere near 10,000 steps today.
