Well, I'm still hovering between 184 and 185. I worked 4 days on the 2020 election as a clerk at the Veteran's Memorial Building in Eureka. Which is a lot better than sitting at home watching TV election results and all the blah blah blah that goes along with it. I tried to stick to my eating plan but by Tuesday night there was pizza.

I've made it so many times I don't really have to look at the recipe but it's good to peak and make sure I don't leave anything out. The liquid from braising is reduced to make a very memorable sauce to drizzle over the dumplings. We had company, my son Weston and his GF, Jezzyka came over, I was surprised there were still dumplings left for our dinner last night.
And you might wonder how eating dumplings impacted my scale this morning? Yep, I'm still 184 today, so I got away with it-Yay!!

ReplyDeleteThis is such a hard time of year to "be good". This week is both Glenn and my birthday, our anniversary, Thanksgiving, and two grandchildren's birthdays. It's my major downfall, annually. And yes, you guessed it. I gained 3 lbs back. And we still have Thanksgiving to get through.
Oh well. I'm just going to try to do the best I can.
